Pizzeria Manager

Role Title: Pizzeria Morning/Afternoon & Evening Manager

Role Description:

Detroit Pizza Depot is seeking a morning and evening shift manager to join our new venture. This is a full-time role, with opportunity to grow. We anticipate expanding into multiple regions, and there will never be a better time to hop aboard.

In this role, you'll help prepare food items for takeout & delivery to customers, make dough, prep, and be the designated person in charge during your shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble pizza & other food items according to customer requests.

• Prepare dough.

• Package food items.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness.

• Practice safe food handling techniques.

• Ensure the staff practices proper food handling techniques

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate has a positive attitude & willingness to learn.

• Must be available for work between 40 hours a week.

• Must be able to work evenings/weekends.

• Must be punctual/a proactive communicator.

• Must be able to work well with others in a fast paced kitchen.

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Must provide/be willing to obtain a Food Manager Certificate within 21 days of hiring (we will pay for the test).

• Able to be on feet for 8 hours.

Nice-to-haves:

• 2+ years kitchen experience for this role is required. Pizza shop experience is a plus, but not necessary.
